Meet your psychologist
Hi, I’m Meegan.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in supporting women through the many stages, challenges and transitions of life. I work with women experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, grief and loss, and life changes — providing a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel understood, supported and empowered to move forward.
My practice is particularly focused on women’s mental health, including the perinatal period, parenting, perimenopause and post-menopause. These experiences can bring significant emotional, physical and relational changes — often alongside increased stress, self-doubt and shifting identities. My aim is to help you navigate them with greater clarity, confidence and self-compassion.
“Meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences, develop new insights, and build practical skills that support lasting wellbeing.”
I draw on evidence-based therapies and tailor them to your unique experiences, strengths and goals — rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re in early adulthood, navigating the perinatal period, adjusting to motherhood, moving through midlife, coping with loss or facing a difficult transition, I’m committed to helping you create a life that feels more balanced, connected and fulfilling.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
Can’t see your question here? Send an enquiry and I’ll happily help.
Do I need a referral?
No — you’re welcome to self-refer and attend privately. However, a GP referral with a Mental Health Treatment Plan lets you claim a Medicare rebate of $149.05 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, so it’s worth asking your regular GP about.
When do I pay, and how do I get my rebate?
Once your appointment is booked, you’ll be sent an invoice by email or text message. The full $250 fee is paid online before your session.
If you have a valid referral, you then claim the rebate yourself through the Medicare app, your Medicare online account via myGov, or at a Services Australia service centre. Medicare pays $149.05 into your nominated bank account, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $100.95.
Can I claim through my private health fund?
Some private health extras policies include psychology. Check with your fund about your level of cover. Note that you can claim either Medicare or private health for a session — not both.
How do telehealth sessions work?
You’ll receive a secure video link for your appointment. At your session time, simply click the link to join from your phone, tablet or computer. All you need is a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space. Telehealth sessions attract the same Medicare rebate as in-person sessions.
Who do you work with?
My practice is dedicated to supporting adult women, from early adulthood through to midlife and beyond. If you’re unsure whether I’m the right fit, please send an enquiry and we can talk it through.
I’m travelling or live overseas — can I still book?
Unfortunately not. I’m only able to provide sessions to people who are physically located in Australia at the time of their appointment.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to change or cancel your appointment, or a fee may apply. Individual circumstances are always considered.
